About the Role
5 min readThe Junior Mechanical Engineer will assist in the design, implementation, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment related to the company’s projects. The role involves working closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure that all mechanical works are carried out efficiently and in accordance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, execution, and supervision.
- Participate in site inspections and monitoring of mechanical installations.
- Assist in the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Prepare technical drawings, reports, and engineering documentation.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for mechanical system issues.
- Ensure that project activities comply with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and contractors during project implementation.
- Monitor project progress and assist in preparing technical progress reports.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Required Skills and Competencies
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment installation
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and mechanical design concepts
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering design software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and professional ethics
