About the Role
5 min readThe successful candidate will support electrical engineering operations, including the design, installation, supervision, testing, and maintenance of electrical power systems across various company projects. Working closely with senior engineers and project teams, the junior electrical engineer will assist in ensuring that all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems.
- Prepare electrical drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation for projects.
- Support senior engineers in project planning, implementation, and supervision.
- Conduct site inspections and electrical system evaluations.
- Assist in load calculations, cable sizing, and electrical equipment selection.
- Monitor electrical installation works to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with other engineers, technicians, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Ability to use engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of electrical drawings and technical documents
