About the Role

LonAdd HR Consultancy Plc (www.lonadd.com) is a Recruitment & Outsourcing Company based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with branch offices in Dukem, Hawassa and Bahir Dar. We are looking to recruit a qualified candidate on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities

  • Support the rollout, deployment, and harmonization of the national CPIMS+, including expansion to new geographical areas and refugee-inclusive implementation.
  • Oversee, monitor, and troubleshoot system deployment across regions and woredas.
  • Conduct technical support missions to regional locations to monitor adoption and resolve software, hardware, and infrastructure challenges.
  • Lead technical readiness assessments for interoperability and support analysis of external systems for future API integration and data-sharing arrangements.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure service linkages and interoperability frameworks.
  • Lead the migration of the national CPIMS+ infrastructure to the Primero Tier 4 Hybrid Deployment Architecture.
  • Configure, maintain, and secure the Client -hosted Demo/Alpha environment and the MoWSA-hosted Production environment.
  • Utilize Ansible and other automation tools to test and deploy system enhancements safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with national data protection requirements and international Primero security standards.
  • Build the capacity of system administrators, social workers, and case managers through training, coaching, and ongoing technical support.
  • Specific role includes:
  • System Rollout, Field Deployment & Harmonization
  • Support the technical rollout of the national CPIMS+ including expansion to the new geographical areas as well as refugee inclusive CPIMS+.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot the deployment of the system across regions and woredas
  • Conduct technical support missions to regional hubs to monitor system adoption and address localized software or infrastructure bottlenecks
  • Interoperability Planning & API Readiness
  • Lead technical readiness assessments for system interoperability built directly on top of the Primero platform.
  • Support MoWSA in analyzing external system architectures currently under study to map out future API integrations, secure data-sharing frameworks, and service linkages.
  • DevOps, System Infrastructure & Tier 4 Hybrid Migration
  • Lead the technical transition of the national infrastructure from its current setup to the Primero Tier 4 Hybrid Deployment Architecture.
  • Configure and maintain the Alpha/Demo Site hosted on the cloud by Client to ensure a safe, ring-fenced environment

Required Skills

Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic. Technical Strong expertise in system administration, server management, and enterprise application support Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps practices, deployment automation, and configuration management tools, particularly Ansible Strong understanding of API development, system integration, interoperability frameworks, and secure data exchange mechanisms. Sound knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection requirements, encryption standards, and confidentiality protocols related to sensitive case management information. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions in multi-site operational environments. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with government counterparts, Client, and other partners. Strong communication and report-writing skills. Ability to deliver technical training and mentorship to both technical staff and non-technical users, including social workers and case managers. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to safeguarding sensitive information.
